With over 40 years of driving experience in different countries and driving environments, I provide calm, structured driving lessons in Victoria, BC. I help beginners, nervous drivers, and newcomers adapt to local road rules, correct unsafe habits, and build confidence for the ICBC road test and real-world driving.
My driving experience spans over four decades and includes working in a variety of driving environments and road conditions. This background allows me to bring a practical, real-world perspective to every driving lesson.
One of my key strengths is helping students—especially newcomers to British Columbia—adapt to local driving expectations. Many drivers arrive with habits that may not align with local road rules or traffic behaviour. I focus on identifying those habits early and guiding students toward safer, more effective driving techniques suited for Victoria and surrounding areas.
My teaching approach is calm, patient, and structured. I understand that every student learns differently, and I create a supportive environment where confidence can develop step by step. Whether you are learning to drive for the first time, returning after a break, or preparing for your ICBC road test, lessons are tailored to your experience level and goals.
Training focuses on real-world driving skills, including observation, speed control, lane positioning, parking, and safe decision-making in everyday traffic situations across Victoria, Oak Bay, and Saanich.
For road test preparation, I provide focused guidance based on ICBC examiner expectations and common test scenarios. This helps reduce stress, improve consistency, and increase the chances of passing.
My goal is not only to help you pass your road test, but to ensure you become a safe, confident, and independent driver.
